Description:
Hardraw is on the Pennine Way and nestles at the base of Stags Fell and Great Shunner Fell with beautiful views across the valley to Weather fell, Dodd Fell and Widdale. Only a few minutes away is the spectacular amphitheatre and waterfall, Hardraw Force, famous for its unbroken drop of nearly 100 feet. The campsite is ideally situated for walking the fells, discovering the unspoilt landscape through local archaeology, farming and culture or exploring the many attractions of Upper Wensleydale for example, the market town of Hawes only 1.5 miles away boasts the Ropemakers, Wensleydale Cheese factory, Gayle Mill, Hawes Auction Mart and several distinctive shops and eating places.
