Calico Barn Cycle Friendly Bunkhouse
Opening in June 2016, Calico Barn is a beautifully restored barn that sleeps 18 people in 5 bedrooms, ideally suited to walkers, cyclists and families visiting the area.
Enter the Barn into a cosy sitting room area, with wood burning stove, comfortable sofas and a TV. Next to this is a dining area leading to a modern, clean kitchen with kettles, toasters, fridges, microwaves and hobs for you to use.
Through into an adjoining barn are the bedrooms sleeping 18 people in good sized bunks. There are 5 rooms in total made up of two smaller rooms with two beds that are bookable as private rooms, a mixed room of 6 beds and male-only and female-only rooms with 4 beds each.
There are 3 shared bathrooms that are fully enclosed and include loo, shower and basin in each, one of which is an accessible bathroom.
Our large bunks are cabin style with a privacy curtain that you can close at night around your bunk. Inside the bunk is a shelf, double socket with USB plug and a lamp. There is storage under the bunks and lockers available in a drying room.
Outside there is a paddock next to the Barn with picnic tables.
Twin Rooms are £50 per room. Beds in all other rooms are £25 per bed including bedding and basic self serve breakfast (cereals, porridge, toast, juice, tea & coffee). Free tea and coffee provided.
