Oakside Camping
Oakside Camping is a small family run campsite on the edge of the longest village in Yorkshire 'Sykehouse'. We are a 20 pitch site with 6 EHU. We have a modern amenity block with seperate ladies and gents facilities. We also have an indoor pot washing room.
The Old George is our local pub and is 1 mile away, it serves both lunches and evening meals and has a massive beer garden with outdoor swimming pool! We have a popular fisheries opposite which offers pleasure and match fishing (Sykehouse Fisheries). The market town of Snaith is about 7 miles away and has everything you may need such as cash points, butcher, co-op, cafes, pubs etc.
The transpennine trail and canal run from the end of our country lane so its a great place to enjoy walking and cycling paths.
Cycling UK is the national cycling charity. We promote all forms of cycling, inspiring people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to discover the joys of cycling. As well as supporting our members, we also play a prominent campaigning role, fighting to defend cyclists’ rights for safer roads, better infrastructure and legal protection.
