PipTree Cafe, Collyers Nurseries & Garden Centre
Open since 2015, we are now a busy 150-seater cafe, notable to cyclists for having plenty of bike parking, extensive outdoor covered and heated areas as well as efficient service, situated in the heart of Collyers Nurseries in Borrowash, 3 miles due-east of Derby. Our family-run garden centre cafe serves fantastic coffee, homemade cakes and light snacks in attractive indoor and outdoor areas. Of note to cyclists, we are located right beside the popular cycling route along Nottingham Road between Risley & Borrowash on the outskirts of Borrowash. This is only 800m from National Cycle Route 6 at Borrowash, and 3 miles from The Nutbrook Trail Route 67 at Sandiacre. PipTree Cafe has an unmissable large A-Frame sign on the south side of the Nottingham Road, and is open from 9:30-4pm daily, 10-3:30pm Sunday, closed Mondays. Our cafe has wrap-around outdoor seating areas with ample space to park up your bike and enjoy a few refreshments, and we truly can boast some of the very best coffee, bakes & cakes in one of the most attractive and individual cafes is the area. We opened on July 22nd and already enjoy regular custom from several cycling groups. We hope to see you soon! James & Jen PipTree Cafe Collyers Nurseries & Garden Centre
